Hey Fast - Just curious man but what drove the decision to run a flat tappet cam instead of going with the hydraulic roller given the state of today's oil?

It has the 4L60E transmission 4X4. I know it isn't the strongest tranny but I would rebuild it with some 4L65E upgrades when swapping motors.

That's a good question. I'm currently considering the 0411 pcm upgrade and it may well be a precursor to a ls type engine swap.
