sweet! Thanks!
Nice! A 4L60E would be nice in it. Do you know if the 454 version of the 7427 had knock sensors?
Thanks! Apart from being able to tune better, are there other benefits to the 7427 PCM?
Hi Dave. It has a 4.125" bore with a 4" stroke. Will the 747 PCM pair with 454 injectors though? Would PCM interpret the exhaust stream as rich since it's pumping more fuel into the engine?
Hello, apologies in advance for the newbie question: I'm continuing my quest to use 7.4 injectors on my old Cadillac. Is it possible to use the 1227747 PCM for it's knock retard capabilities AND use...
Indeed. That is definitely a problem. Back to the drawing board! Thank you!
Good point on the chip being backwards. I triple checked it and the orientation was correct. Like you say, it's possible the PCM isn't equipped for that bin; I had not considered that. I thought the...
Good point. Here it is. And thanks for the fast response!!
I'd like to do that next. I didn't pursue it because this route would be faster. But now that I have more confidence, I wouldn't mind trying that next.
Hello: Pardon the newbie question; I'm new to tuning. I read the bin off my stock ACSU chip out of a 1227747 PCM. After loading it in Tunerpro with the requisite mask file, I seem to be getting some...
How is it going? I just converted my 66 Cadillac 429 to TBI injection using a 1227747 PCM. I'm going to use the 2000 PPM Jag VSS, but wondering if the stock cruise+DRAC will work with that. That's...
Thanks so much, Dave! It makes some sense. It sounds like I *might* be able to edit the ECM constants table to adjust what I'm looking for; is that right?
Hi all: I'm brand new to tuning, OBD I, etc. I recently picked up a 91 Seville with the 4.9L V8 and MPFI. Runs great, but after reading the forums some last night, I got to wondering if I could...
I realize it's like 8 years later, but how did this end up damanx?
That sounds like an *awesome* project! I'm a newbie so not sure I can help, but definitely cheering you on!
Hello: New to the forum. What brought me here was a TBI conversion I'm doing on my Cadillac 429. A buddy of mine and I rebuilt the engine and towards the end he says, "You really should fuel inject...
