base timing not stock
I've been reading a lot of posts here and at 3rd gen, and several posts said if your base initial timing is modified in your bin that it also needs to be modified in the log definition and/or xdf file.
Could someone point me to a thread describing this in more detail? My tuner changed my base timing and I want TP5 to show the timing correctly. Those posts did not include directions on how to do it.
Thank you!

I've posted a screen shot form TunerPro definition $OD comments on Initial Spark Advance.
For me, when the Initial Spark Advance is ZERO as show in the screen shot, I set the Distributor Timing to ZERO (ESC unplugged - usually the tan wire with black stripe going to the distributor) is set to ZERO.

You have to change the xdf file and the adx file. Search parameter of initial spark to change the base. Go to acquisition, edit definition, values, and whatever your spark advance is labeled as. There is a formula on the conversion tab you enter the base timing. Your data dash and logging will them show the proper values.
