OBD2 data stream ?'s

Hello all! So im looking for a "scantool" with more umph than my snap on solus gives me. Its ok on the day to day stuff but im looking for more manufacturer specific pids especially on the trans side since t is my pimary revenue source. ;) anywho, im not crazy about the smartphone apps as they are limited to mostly engine side.
I dont mind building an app for a tablet if need be. Any pointers?

I have a bluetooth and a wifi obd2 interface so thats not an issue, mostly how do i retrieve the enhanced pids from gm, ford, toyota, european...?
