The Moates G1 adapter has been discontinued and will not be replaced. Does anyone have any insight as to why? I fear that every gearhead's favorite 3-letter federal government agency is involved.

I've done this on my first project before I even knew what a G1 was. Needless to say without a fine tip soldering iron, mine came out horrible but still works. :rolleye:Quote:

That may work, is is hard to get the chip on and off. The on I have from Moates has a little lever, it is easy to get chip on and off.
there is another one that boostednw.com is making, they are trying to fill the gaps of moates parts... I talked to them one day last week and they said send them any suggestions of what is needed or most sought after right now
