Fuel pump recommendations

Was ready to start datalogging :( Now I'm having a fuel issue. I shut off the truck and it wouldnt restart. Next morning it primed, started then stalled out. Wouldnt prime or restart. 100% sure the ICM and relay is good. Going to bypass the relay to see if i can power the pump. I had an ac delco ep381 installed about 7 months ago. Anyone have a recommendation for a replacement (if I end up needing it)??? Was getting 13.5 psi with current pump and 18 psi regulator spring. Tbi with vortec heads and cam upgrade. Shouldnt my fuel pressure have been higher in the first place?
