Need help adding a parameter to Super 8d

So there is a parameter called Air Divert MPH in the Super 8v5. By default it is set to 45 MPH and it behaves as such in open loop. If I set it for 85 MPH diverts at 85 MPH but only in open loop. The issues is there is no parameter for closed loop so as soon as my ECM goes closed, this new value no longer applies and the dirvet goes back to 45 MPH. I've using the divert function set to 4500 RPM to control a solenoid that opens a exhaust dump valve. It's works perfect in open loop but as soon as I go into close loop, it diverts at 45 MPH no matter the RPM. Anyone know how to add a parameter or point me in the right direction.
