Chris, I never left the tuning world. I just left the tuning boards. I got tired of all the BS. Like I said, I mostly have been doing OBDII tuning for a few local shops and even got into the marine ECM tuning on GM crate engines. That is not fun, just FYI. That ECM fueling is pulse-width based, not VE.
As for the chevelle, I just had all this stuff laying around so I figured why not use it. Don't get me wrong, I am a big fan of the '0411 and later DBW PCM's but this project just seemed to call for old school stuff. The car is fun to drive now as it is carbed.
