Hello,
I have a 1227747 ecm with the chip marked as "ADUS". This is in a street rod with early to mid 90's 4.3l that has vortec heads and TBI that the previous owner said was from a C or K van, but thats all he knows. I can't find any info on the ADUS chip, can anyone tell me what vehicle this was originally used in? I'm kind of in the dark when troubleshooting or needing a sensor as to what vehicle the part is for. Thanks

Thanks, that gives me some direction. Do you know if I need a VSS? I do have the th400 but no VSS. I am getting a code 24 when I decelerate quickly then get back on the gas slightly. It also seems to be a little lean especially when cold it bogs down pretty bad from a dead stop, in neutral with no load it revs quickly. When warm it's much better but still seems doggy. Could this be from lack of the VSS? Most sensors have been changed but not knowing what the motor was from it has been a guessing game as to which part numbers to use.
