VSSB module pinout
I got a VSSB module out of a 95 truck for my 86 C10, which is running a TPI with a 1227730. The plan is to put an NV3500 transmission in the truck, which has a 40 pulse VSS.
The issue is that there doesn't appear to be any pinout diagrams for the VSSB for retrofit applications. I've searched extensively and only come up with a hand written pinout (which was useless).
Here is the diagram I have so far:

Maybe someone in the know could help fill in those blanks?

Looks about right, however the colors don't match up to the diagram of my box. Does it matter, is the wiring of the DRAC and the VSSB the same?

Attachment 4382
Attachment 4383
Maybe one of these two could help, they are the two I have saved for the later model PCM's ('7427, etc...) ?

The speed sensor adapter was called a DRAC by many before the term VSSB started being thrown around. The diagram above showing two distinct connectors is one I put together years ago using info from several different vehicles. So far I haven't received any info contradicting it. If you're only looking for a speed signal for ecm/pcm and speedometer that one will work.

Do the Drac and VSSB share same connector? I know they are different as DRAC has one set of jumpers and VSSB has 2 sets of jumpers.
Strange how GM used DRAC in older square body TBI trucks, went to DRAC or? in Speedometer in newer body style 1988, then went back to VSSB in later TBI trucks.

I've swapped old to new box without problems before but I can't say I was keeping track of make, model, etc. They both have the same plugs as far as I know. I used to have some of each style around but I may not have any old ones left.
It is strange that GM put the circuit on the back of the speedo for a few years. Maybe more parallel development stuff. Or maybe just saving a few nickels.

Thanks for the help guys. Got my truck back up and running so these should help me in the near future
