way red meaning lower than 128? red in datamaster means lower than 128. that means it's running RICH and it's removing fuel
you added 1 to the entire MAF table. that reads MORE airflow and dumps MORE fuel.
then you subtracted one from the injector constant. that reads LESS injector flow, so dumps MORE fuel.
you're tuning backwards!!
try running a stock maf table and injector constant, do another log with datamaster, and post it so we can have a look
thanks yea rich but idle i put a wideband on is 18.0:1 just bought yesterday. I need to figureout how to histogram this with wideband. I can tune with hp tuners using the lc-2 and histogram but having a hard time with this.
I didnt mess with the inj tables at all. I think someone messed with this car, I tried downloading some other stock files but when I compare the only difference was on my first 3 map columns on the reg ve mine was 16.5 less then a camaro z28
i'd be more interested in just seeing a closed loop log than you getting your wideband working at this point. i really doubt it's idling at 18:1 after jacking up all your fueling
and throw this stock bin back on there (assuming it's a manual)

I sub 2 to maf tables. I put inj at 24 still rich was fine in begining closed loop then went rich. I think there is a 320lph fuel pump in there but with pressure reg shouldnt matter that much right? here is data master run
that's correct. it shouldn't be very rich with the stock maf tables; i would reccommend that you stop playing with the maf tables, put it back to stock, and definitely stop just adding whole numbers. they need to be scaled by multiplying (and carefully). you have another problem. are these the stock injectors?
buddy i looked at your log.
you have a major blm split (meaning one bank is reading way unbalanced from the other one). this is probably NOT a tuning issue, so stop tuning right away and just change it back to stock. you may just end up masking the actual problem by "tuning around it".
this problem persists throughout the rpm range meaning it's a fairly big issue, not just some tiny exhaust leak or something. only one bank is reading rich.
your o2 sensors are switching ok which means its probably not an o2 sensor issue, but not a garuntee of that. did you replace both o2 sensors or just one?
possible causes i'd look at first (but im sure there are others);
- a decent sized exhaust leak probably on the right hand side
- leaky injector probably on the left hand side
- clogged injector on the right hand side
- intake manifold gasket leak or other vacuum leak
- fouled spark plugs or dead plug wire causing consistent misfire
- valvetrain issue, broken spring, tight rocker.. (although your MAP doesn't seem to reflect that, it's worth pulling the valve covers and having a look...)
tell me what you try i'll continue to help you
New tune deco plugs exhaust no leak. No cat, 36000 miles
any other thoughts? gave you a list of stuff to check...
Ill pull plugs and let you know thank you
scoped out injectors good this car is making me CRAZY look at datamaster file I thing upstream 02 no good I have from open loop into closed
All plugs great btw.
All plugs great no vacuum leaks smoked out btw.
Suff make sure you check everything that steveo suggested. In my opinion, particularly the opti spark and wires. sounds like its missing, though i havent seen the log, i dont have data master. Not to be harsh, but plugs look great is not helpful. quality pictures of the condition of the plugs would be great.
All Changed water pump 2 no misfires anywhere Im leaning to the 02 1 is switching fine the other is staying below 500mv but if the car is not running properly the 02 won't switch properly. if this was only a 96
plugs have no black or fuel res on them the plugs have less the 500 miles on them along with full tune. MAF I cleaned because car sits a lot only 36k. did ramp and sig test on injectors that was good. fuel pump changed with 320lph because old one took crap. fuel pressure stays constant koeo so no leak and fuel reg good.
Im sure someone will argue this but in my personal experience an 02 sensor can cause an engine to run rich or lean but not to the point that the car really runs very noticeably bad at all. Unless of course it has in turn fouled a plug out or something of that matter. I still lean towards a solid misfire. Just got done with finding a bad new opti spark on my brand new engine. Took me two weeks. Hope you do better. Good luck. Don't get tunnel vision .
only 1 bank lt bank rich right bank perfect no misfire at all i changed cap rotor spent 255 for optispark alone no codes and i pulled 1 inj at time no miss
Bodch 02 sensor is only 60 dollars at local parts store. Put one in it so you can move on with your diagnostics.
Already ordered car dons run bad really just smells like sh#t and from a stop backfires 1 or 2 times under acceleration
ok well a backfire could help you diagnose your problem....backfires either come out the intake or the exhaust. you should be able to tell clearly by the sound of the backfire if it sounds like its under the hood or out the tail pipe. if its under the hood, its coming out of the intake valve and would be caused by the fuel in the cylinder igniting at the wrong time for some reason, whether it be running too hot , lean, timing, bad opti spark, crossed wires, etc. The only way a rich condition will cause a backfire, the only way im aware of. is a buildup of fuel in the exhaust system, which then ignites by heat, and causes the shotgun sound from your tailpipe. so which is it? small pop from under the hood or a shotgun out of the tail pipe?
ill put the spark tester were I can make my own gap
