Fan control from egr?

Im running 1227747 $42 ecm and was wondering about using EGR solenoid wires for fan relay but was not able to get egr to turn on. Not sure what settings im missing. I have seen someone do this on another website and thought it might be a nice idea

Ive tried setting these and a few others.
EGR ON TPS
EGR Off TPS
EGR - Min kPa
low vac Kpa
high vac Kpa
RPM min for EGR%
CTS Enable

I got this to work using the updated xdf to get the egr wires to engage using a test light so I can tune and watch it. Problem is the light only seems to come on after taping the gas pedal, I set ON and Off TPS to 0 with no luck, my tps% sets at 1%. Any help is greatly appreciated.
