what flash / read program do I need to use tunerpro 99 vortec 5.7 4l60e?

Hi guys!
going to pull the trigger on a 99 vortec 5.7 / 4l60 / 241 swap on a 99 jeep. anyways still learning on efi mods, and this is a stock build, but I want to disable security, and I will be using a manual transfer case, where as the donor had an auto push button shift. also it has the later "big head key" with the encoded lock cylinder, or at least I think. not the earlier little square head key with a resistor in the key itself. first off do I need to flash those parameters out on the ecu? and if I do, whats out there for free / cheap interfaces to grab and flash the tune?

What computer are you going to use on the 99 Vortec 5.7?

To my knowledge, TunerPro does not support the 99 Vortec 5.7.

If you upgrade the black box to the 12200411 (aka '0411) there are TunerPro options. See link below.

Perhaps having the black box custom flashed (without Vehicle Anti-Theft System - VATS) would be the budget option? Perhaps the custom flash could also include "Off Road Only" programming?

Eaglemark had posted some .xdf files many years ago I found for a 98 black box. Vats is pretty easy to get around with a $30 baker electronics vats bypasser.
