A new goodwrench 350 tbi was put into an 88 chevy k2500. I made a log file from a short highway drive. I did not turn off any parameters such as egr etc. I noticed that the knock counts keep climbing. The truck is completely stock with the akaj bin. The only thing changed in the chip is the desired afr was changed to 14.10 for e10 fuel.

BLM Averages are a slightly rich.
IAC looks slightly high, normally IAC counts are between 10 - 40 steps at idle. New engines seem to have slightly high IAC steps.
O2 sensor looks mostly normal.
I suggest applying the Spark Advance Hack.

I took the chip out of the ecm so my dad could see how the truck ran on just the netres. That's why the code 51. I tried to reset the iac a few times by doing the pin ab jump method. Fully closed iac idle is 500rpm. Idle with iac plugged in is 600 rpm. What is the spark advance hack?
