1989 S10 Short Bed 3 step project

Hello everyone. Complying with 1st post requirement.

Starting 1988 S10 2wd shortbed project, 4.3 V6 and auto trans original.

Step 1 - Install donor 1988 305 / 700R4 from wife's t-boned truck, 140,000 miles and keep TBI by changing ECM from donor (1227747). Exhaust to sky for now. Get running smooth.

Step 2 - Obtain (10/10/20) 1991 Formula 305 TPI and install on 305. Use 1227730 ECM and EPROM, re-pin harness and and get running again smooth.

Step 3 - Obtain (2) ebay turbos, fit to engine and TBI, order and install Dynamic efi EBL P4 Flash, tune and drive.

Not too much to do, right.

Well you had a nice, mild engine swap going 'til the turbos got mixed up in this. Are you planning to run intercooled as well? Or are you challenging the limits by skipping the cooling?
