97 LT1 Camaro computer comm problems

Hey guys, I've been using JetDST for about 4 years now and have never had a problem. Last week I encountered a read problem with my LT1 camaro and the Jet, after communicating with Jet my chord is not the problem and they think there program is not the problem as they recently sent me the new updated software. After following there instructions JetDST now communicates with my LS1GTO, but not my LT1 camaro so I know the laptop computer is fine. The camaro still runs and drives fine but the I cannot comminicate with it with JetDST as I have for the past 4 years, please help.
