Good point, I need to look over the 4 injector wires.
Aftermarket ignition module?
Throttle cable physically moving another wire?
Does scantool data show AE active flag? It may be possible to insert custom code to light the C/E light if ECM activates AE. That might help isolate if the problem is ecm triggering injectors or another issue.
Is/was your MAP issue causing AE to pulse the injectors?
The ignition module is aftermarket. The whole distributor is. The original GM distributor was so worn out you could literally grab the rotor bug shaft and wobble the entire shaft around. I turned that distributor into an oil pump priming tool. I think it's a Pertronix distributor that I stabbed in there with it's corresponding module.
What do you mean by the cable moving another wire, I don't follow ya there?
Unfortunately I haven't had the laptop hooked up and running TP when this issue has happened. IF it does come back I will capture it on a datalog though. Should help alot. Don't know why I hadn't captured that on a datalog already other than just being overwhelmed by every little nitpicking issue that has popped up on this build. But then, I guess that is to be expected when ironing out the bugs on such an ambitious build.
I don't know. That is a very good question though..... I wouldn't be surprised if it was..... It was weird, the MAP would work fine sometimes, then other times it was locked in the middle KPA colum of 55 or whatever it is.... Must have chased my tail for MONTHS before I finally figured out that the MAP was flaking out sometimes.
