ok this a guy has a 1973 chevy 4x4 pickup.he wants me to drop in a 1989 350 tbi out of a suburban .he has all the harness /ecm&motor from the suburban. He wants me to try and adapt the new harness to the 73 pickup harness.my thoughts were either get a custom harness or put a carb & hei distributor. Any suggestions?
Adapt the stock harness to the truck.
A custom harness is less work,but for the high price you could spend a couple hours with a wiring diagram and make it yourself easily with what you have and save several hundred dollars.

he also wants to stay with the original granny 4spd
All the diagrams you need should be on the site to change up the harness,pretty sure mark has uploaded them.Any questions and i'm sure we could help.
If the diagrams aren't on the site,I could probably post them up since I finally got access back to mitchell.
