want to start datalogging and tuning my car

hi all. i'm trying to get more understanding of my car. last year I did a tpi conversion to my 1985 monte carlo with a 350 and 200-4r transmission. I started with a system off a 91 firebird with a 5.0 and went from there. new injectors, harness, fuel system, etc. i'm now using a 1227727 ecm(changed from the 1227730). the car runs fine, good power and plenty of torque. the only thing that I don't like is just off idle there is a weird hesitation that goes away as you press the gas. its done it from day one. I checked the tps and it was fine(but I plan on checking again). I had the chip burned by someone else. I used the old memcal from the firebird, which has me wondering what bin file I should be using. i'm also wondering if I can pull the fuel and spark maps from my own memcal somehow. I am in the process of putting together my own cable for connecting to the ecm.
