I've seen engines blow up on Dynos, but never a dyno blow up?

New hobby!
I finally have something I thought I would never have. I now have a lathe and mill! Its in the form of a smithy granite 1324 combo machine. Lots of people like to look down on combo machines, mainly professional machinsts. Yes, your not going to be making parts for nasa with this thing, but parts for a jeep and other various small projects it can handle just fine.
The lathe has a 13in swing (max dia object is 13in) and is 24 inches between centers. Mill uses R8 collets and can also be used as a drill press (has a drill chuck in the spindle in the picture) I picked this up used local (about 45 min away) its about 2 years old and came with a workbench with drawrs and a cabnet, all full of extras, as well as boxes of other stuff. The bench was a little small for my taste, so I made my own HD bench (setting on it in the pic)
I have collets in about every size you could think of, boxes of new and used end mills, boxes of new and used lathe tools, dial indacators, various tools, so much stuff it has taken me almost all day to go through it all and get it organised. Bonus is it has a quick change tool post too! The extra stuff it came with was probably about as much as the machine itself. So much stuff...geeze, where am I gonna put it....lol
I played around with it some and practiced on some scrap metal. Everything works great. Cant wait to get started on actual projects. I also had to go to lowes and invest in a small shop vac...lol
I'm loving this smithy. Been fooling around with it a little each afternoon. I have practiced on a few peices of scrap. I have bored out a throttle body for a jeep 4.0. I am currently making a small hammer from a scrap aluminum rod and a scrap brass rod. I even started on the trigger wheel for my northstar DIS I will be putting on my cherokee's 7427 system.
Anyone using Chrome as a browser? I switched to it awhile ago and have liked it since, seems faster the MS IE.
But lately I can't get into PayPal and it seems maybe secure websites? I enter my password and nothing? Switch over to MS IE and all works well.
Wondering if it's Chrome or if my security software is interferring?
it should work just fine with default chrome settings, i use it all the time.
"security software"? hmm, that's a possibility. i never use that stuff, but see if it added a chrome plugin or something, that might be breaking it. type about:plugins into your address bar.
if other "secure websites" also seem to be breaking, perhaps a reset of chrome's settings are in order?
there are other privacy/security settings in settings>show advanced settings or whatever you can play around with to see if you can fix it
I use Chrome pretty much exclusively. I just logged into my Paypal account without issue.
I went through all the advance settings and also rest back to original. Under Extensions is the plug ins and I removed the security stuff... still won't work. Couldn't sign into eBay or PayPal?
what about other https:// stuff?
what is this mystery "security" stuff?
The "S" designation means it goes through a secure server...
I'm having other issues to now, like 2 windows open to this site and can't make a new thread when 2 windows are open... just ran some checks and no virus or malware etc... reported. May have to go back to MS IE...
Chrome is getting worse! On some sites if a make a post it just goes to a blank page, no post? Been using MSIE for a few days now.
FireFox fan here. Can't beat the plug-ins and flexibility.
I've working on a power distribution module for relays and fuses. Here is a few pics of a work in progress. I think this would be awesome for an Off-Road application. LS1 style fuses and relays.
