More data was taken with the Actron because it seemed to me that the engine was idling fast again. The data is below but the long and short of it seems that even though the minimum air adjustment was set to 450 +/- RPM with the transmission in drive (this is from my Alldata online manual) once everything is re- connected, the engine runs at 1000 RPM and my IAC numbers are still in the 70-80 range. I'm not understanding something here... The minimum air setting puts the engine at 450 RPM in drive, Then the IAC sends the idle to 1000 and my IAC count goes high. If a normal idle IAC range is in the 20's or so it would seem that the minimum air would need to be set to a much higher RPM to allow the IAC counts to be lower. What am I missing (beside a brain)
