Hello, am an old school type of guy that was convince LS is the way to go for relatively easy upgrades and parts are easy to find. Am overwhelmed with all the information on what should/should not be done when doing a swap, double edged sword with the internet LOL

Am currently trying to program a PCM for standalone. Am using TunerPro to make the updates to the bin I read from the PCM, but now can't get the updated bin (or any bin/data) to write to the PCM. It's out of a 2000 Silverado, the PCM OS # is 9373372 (512k bin). Am trying to use LS Droid Legacy to read/write, but since trying to write the updated bin am consistently getting errors during just the setup. Any help/suggestion will be appreciated.

You are likely seeing check sum errors due to editing your 9373372 BIN with an unsuitable XDF definitions file. Stick with the 12212156 BIN or the 12208322 BIN files because they are also 512k bytes in size and . . . more importantly . . . they have richly featured matching XDF definition files.

LS Droid works well for me using either a Samsung S9 Android phone or an Android Kindle device. I also like a VX Nano J2534 device with PCM Hammer. And almost exclusively, I do my PCM reading and writing on a bench harness.
