Since my trans swap, my 1995 c1500 is getting 12mpg no matter how or where i drive it. 4l80e conversion with a sto k $od bin. My other truck with a 4l60/$0e is getting 14-18.

Id like to bump timing to start. Its common on these to add 2-4 deyat the distributor, but as im leaning tuning, id like to do this via the bin Nd tunerpro.

Cant seem to figure out how though.

Anyone have a link? Or walk me through it? Want to add to every cell in every spark table to start, then log and see if theres more that can be added in places by watching vacuum and knock counts.
But step one is wholesale adding.

Definitions $E6 & $OD are for the 4L60E

Definitions $OE & $31 are for the 4L80E

Sorry. Got the masks confused doing it from memory. Not bad for only one cup of coffee!

I know that i saw ewas to add the same values to seleced cells or whole tables in a tutorial somewhere. That may have been megasquirt though

Is there that feature in tunerpro? If so, how do i access it? I think timing tweaks will have a significant impact on economy in my truck, especially seeing that its running cooler than stock, with some breathing upgrades. Should be able to get a few more degrees in before knock counts start.

Timing can affect both performance and economy. To much timing or not enough timing can cause knock retard.

Attached is a picture of the list of timing tables and TunerPro RT Knock Retard average history table.

Have you looked into any of the lean cruise setup and functions?

No sir. It requires adding in on the late tbi ecm. I saw theres a way to do that, but thats way down the road. Right now im at basics until i relearn all the stuff i used to know and lost after the accident.

Open the main timing table and select all cells then at the top under function pick the +/- and put 2 in the box beside then click execute.
