Hey y'all I have the apu1 and hdr1 from moates. I have watched the videos and read the support pages and I must be over looking where I need to go in tunerpro rt to load the stock bin into the tunerpro program so that I can use it as a base to start from.also if anyone has a good starting bin I'm all ears. If the specs on my truck would help here they are. 16147060 banc ECM . 1993 k2500 suburban tbi 454 with 1998 vortec 454 heads 1998 vortec flat top pistons and a comp cam. Best I remember the specs are 461/480 lift and 223 duration. As I'm not at home right now and don't have my cam card handy. Thank you in advance.

Once you read the PROM, You need to "save the buffer to file."

Save the bin where ever you like then, you can open it in Tuner Pro, with the proper loaded XDF.

Always good to know how to read a prom! But I'll load up BANC for you anyway. All the other collected infor for $85 and your PCM is here:

Ok so that tropical storm debby is out of here I have all the proper files uploaded to tunerpro rt. But for some reason I no can't seem to find where to disable checksum. I know I have seen it somewhere in the program but now I am lost.

Only reason to disable checksum is to emulate. To do so open Mask ID and replace with AA.

How do I change it?

In the Mask/XDF under Scalers look for Mask ID, double click and it opens, change 42 to AA... TunerPro will calculate the new checksum when bin is saved.

Ok I'll take another look at it when I get home. I must have missed it this morning. I spent a solid hour looking for that because I thought I remembered seeing it in scalers. Thanks mark.

This $85 has several XDF floating around... this one has it. I added the last ADX I worked on and used to tune a truck awhile back. they both worked fine.
