That's a pretty handy setup. Thanks for posting that.
With 40A relays we've found the terminals can get hot with extended use. Our fleet applications probably are more demanding than the average vehicle but if you are going to be using the relays at near-peak current capacity it might improve reliability to split the current across multiple relays.

I agree, a constant 40A current draw will get relay terminals warm or possibly to hot to touch. Many GM Fan Relays are 0.125" terminals. The relays selected are 0.250" terminals. The box was built for a competition Off Road application.
