Hello everyone,

As far as i know 96-97 Formula/Trans AM cars rated for 285 horsepower at 5000 rpm and 325 lb-ft of torque at 2400 rpm. WS6 package bumped those numbers up to 305 hp at 5400 rpm and 335 lb-ft at 3200 rpm.

The WS6 package added a functional "Ram Air" hood-scoop that helped direct cool air into the engine, along with a freer-flowing exhaust system.

Is the tune file in PCM is as same as Formula/Trans Am or WS6 Cars have an different tune from factory? If it's different can anybody share stock 97WS6 M6 file ? I had rather JetDST format (*.jcl ) if it's possible.

Thank You

I did some digging and managed to find some bins based on google vins.

The 21 is supposed to be from 97 ws6
The 41 is regular 97 transam
both manual.

You can do a hex compare and can be opened with jet. Make sure you select bin files in file type drop down menu to become visible.

It is the maf table that is different and some speed settings plus some other undefined values.

Thank you, kur4o

I had open with jet and made quick compare, as you say there is differance at MAF tables. 41 bin MAF table is same with 97 TA A4 bin 16236233, but 21 is different from both of others. I'm planning to compare all tables. I suspect there might be difference on O2 related values due to different exhaust systems on WS6 cars. I'll make a list of differences and share here when i finish complete compare.

I had worked on tune of my friends 97 TA M6 and achived to run it as it should run. Thanks kur4o.

I have to take attention who needs and want to use these bins:

At the beginning when i use the "main advance table" and "extended advance table" of above 21 & 41 bins car had hesitation and was really weak, after quick search and compare with well known 97 TA A4 stock bin i have figured out that both advance tables of both bin are really far from 97TA stock bin. After change of the advance tables with 97TA A4 tables everyting become to normal. So please be careful with the advance tables if you planning to use those bins.
