Evening All, (well it is in Scotland!)

As the title says I'm looking for an xdf file for a 99 Corvette with a 411 PCM,

Can you help?

Hello Bob,

Is there something particularly attractive about 12593359 to you? There are several other versions of 512k byte operating systems out there that have well-stocked, matching XDF files - will work perfectly for your 411 PCM. I have three different sets here that I dabble with:

12208322

12202088

12212156

My particular versions here support a 5.3 L engine and a 4L60E automatic transmission. All three of these at one time or another have completely replaced whatever original OS was in each PCM to support my 1970 El Camino.

Maybe they can work for you unless you have a more difficult requirement to fill.

Hi Rick,
Thanks for the reply.

The only reason that I'm trying to work with the OS is thats what's in the PCM.

It was configured in the US and shipped over and works BUT, I may have to adjust the Tach signal to get it to match stock guages etc...

I would be happy to use a later corvette OS that is supported but I have no way of finding what has been set in the existing one:rolleye:

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello Bob,

Have you thought about flashing your own PCM? Its not that tough or expensive these days requiring a bench harness, small two amp, 12 volt power supply and a certain Bluetooth OBD2 module. Any of the three OS examples above should work nicely for you as long as you have the engine and transmission noted.

Hi Bob,
Just a thought I would like to share. Purchasing an additional '0411 computer to learn with is an option? Possibly the "spare" '0411 would be flashed with a common OS like the 12212156. The 2002 Corvette used OS 12212156. Perhaps the attached 2002 Corvette .bin file might be helpful to learn with. The "mule" is an '0411" bench PCM I flash and then read as a .bin file. The Read 1999 Corvette 4L60E.bin was read directly from the vehicle computer.

Hi guys and thank you both for the reply's.

Rick, I already have all the required kit to do it but this is an oddball vehicle which is why I'd like to see what has been changed in the "new" PCM (which I have already taken a .bin file from...)

Dave As above, I have a test 411 and my plan was to load the "new" PCM config onto that for testing.

The 2 areas that I'm not certain about are that the LS1 is coupled to a Turbo400 which has an Electric kickdown which has been provisioned in the new PCM somehow and as theres no VSS signal coming in have the maps been changed....

I will certainly try loading these 2 .bin files and have a look.

If either of you could throw some light on the kickdown setting that would be appreciated.

Dave,
Am I right in reading the OS for the 1999 Vette as 9379910?

The attached 1999 Corvette EFI Live .ctz file was downloaded from tunefiledepot.com, which has been shut down for several years now. EFI Live has free version to view files - https://www.efilive.com/download-efilive
