Chevy TBI 383 Converison

My son and I just finished up a tbi cinversion in his 1972 GMC truck, put a vortec 383 engine and 700r4 trans. The truck runs rich and we are haveing problems finding a way to see live data. Does anyone have any recomendations. I had a old scanner with the correct adapter to a 25 pin and then to usb but cant get any recomeded programs to work for us to diagnose the issues, Thanks in advance

I downloaded it but cant get the PC to communicate to the PCM, i have tried multiple ways and tried to find directions on this site but havent had any luck getting the communication issue solved

Oh, I forgot to mention TunerPro RT interfaces with the pickup diagnostic port using a USB ALDL cable. http://aldlcable.com/products/aldlobd1u.asp

TunerPro RT is not plug-n-play. TunerPro RT needs to be configured with the correct make / model / year / computer part number ".adx" file. TunerPro RT will also need the USB driver installed and USB Cable "Com Port" configured.
