Friend of mine recently installed a new GM crate engine in his 94 Silverado. This is a 5.7 truck, 330k miles and original unmolested. He's found this stray connector near the throttle body. Can anyone identify it?

The truck is also throwing 2 codes. 32 - EGR, and 54 - fuel pump circuit low voltage. 32 is new since the engine swap. He's replaced both the EGR valve and the solenoid, to no avail. The 54 has been a problem since before the swap.

The truck runs ok when first started but gets progressively worse the longer it runs. Turn it off and back on and it starts that cycle over.

We'll appreciate any insights or suggestions you can offer. Thanks

Based on your code 32 I'm guessing that connector goes to the EGR control module on the passenger side of the TB and just above/next to the valve cover.

Definitely the EGR connector. Fun fact: that can be physically plugged into the 4low connector and not just EGR. Mine shifted all weird when I bought it, that was why.
