Welcome!

Things in Mexico are often the same but different than other market areas.

Like TBI and PFI I6 250 engines in GMT400 Trucks and SUVs and 350 Vortecs in GMT800 Trucks and SUVs down there.

What are you working with?

Yes, things in Mexico are different...
I started last year doing some stuff regarding ECU/ECM/Car diagnosis and have been working mainly in compact cars.
But there are a lot of trucks here and i also need to learn something, so because of that there is a guy that asked me if i could help him out doing some ECM mods/repro for his 5.7L Vortec engine. He wants to put some racing CamShatfs on it and need a repro on the ECM so that the engine doesn't turn off all the time...
because of that i found PcmHammer forum, TunerPro (already had it installed to try and learn more) and because i needed the the XDF file for the Vortec ECM, i have found this forum...
Honestly i still have a Very Long way in front of me, so that i can be comfortable doing the ECM mods myself, but this is the reason for me to be in this forum also...
I have some tools/interfaces (not all are original because of the cost at this time) and have been working on trying to build some other ones (like BDM programmers) with the info we can find over the web...
So, if there is anything i can help here i will be Very Happy, because i know that we all need support, and i will definitely need some support/help on the future...
