Hey all,
I was reading around the forum and decided I needed to join! I'm planning on doing the vortec head swap on my 93 GMC 350, and have found lots of useful information here! I'll keep you posted on when/how the build goes. I am pretty green when it comes to engine mods/customization and am all ears to any help/advice! Thanks!
I've got;
93' GMC K1500
09' Chevy 2500HD 6.0
00' Jeep Cherokee Rockcrawler

Dave, I'm guessing you're in Arizona? The massive saguaro makes me think that!

I actually live in western Washington State. I really liked the "change in scenery" when I visited Arizona several years ago. The Sonoran Desert and Saguaro is a very different scenery than the backyard view I have of evergreen forests and Mt Saint Helen's.

The idea of retiring to sunny Arizona has crossed my mind several times, especially during the seemingly endless cloudy days of the winter rainy season of western Washington State.

Its a hell of a state, but if youre down in the valley during the summer you'll melt away! Most of us "Phoenicians" run away to the pine forests up north as often as we can!

I like the idea of being a "Snowbird" retiree, going south for the winter, returning north for the summer.
