Just curious mostly, seems possibly a proprietary chip?

Rather than hack a vssb module to do what I need it to do, I'd rather try to make a new one.

Interesting question. I've never tried before. Is it a Delco chip? Mot-Semi?

It has no identity markings, that's why guessing proprietary and haven't seen a datasheet.
Kinda like odometer chip in my 94 Caprice....no datasheet.

Aftermarket vss stuff is just stupid $$ imho.
The simple 2prs ones are up to $120 now.

The vssb is probably $5-$10 in components and would be nice to diy?
I have 2 of stealth(jtr) 2prs units installed in my jeeps.
My jeeps use an 8k vss(cruise).
In order to use a vssb for ecm/pcm they need to be modded.
I think nowadays there are chips that'd work?

Surprised there isn't something in diy arena?
Be nice to add/hide it inside ecm/pcm too.

Interesting chip. Some of the pictures show it on a DRAC, some on a VSSB, and some VSSB's show a different number. I'll try to look around and see what I can find.

Are you aware of this Jeep VSS solution?

Went to local yard today...geez hard find these things.
Found a smaller one in a caddy.
Different than any I've seen before.

Ohh... a lot of the attachments got lost. It's not gone, just... lost. I'll see if I can remember how to find them.
