So, im trying to complete my 0411 swap in my 1999 K1500 suburban with an HT383E from GMPP. I swapped all the pins from Lextech's spreadsheet and set the VATS to none, removed the generator signal from diagnostics. I am using HP Tuners. the problem is that i still have no spark. i cant figure out what im doing wrong. if anybody is using hpt and willing to look over my tune i would greatly appreciate it. I am pretty new to tuning and trying to learn as much as i can.

I would suspect wiring or sensor problems before I suspect calibration problems. Have you confirmed the pcm is detecting engine rpm in the scantool data?

it sees RPM while cranking.

I have continuity from 26Red pin to ICM white wire, ICM WHT/Black to Coil, and ign power with key on to both, also good ground to ICM. so the only thing left is what signal to test for and how from PCM. if that's good, then what signal does the ICM send to the coil and how to test that?

Maybe the attached .bin file can be used with HP Tuners?

so I think I figured it out. I tested the signal from the PCM with an LED and it was goo. so tomorrow I will get and ICM and that should fix it. it is quite a coincidence for that to go bad at the same time that I decided to do the swap.

That is a strange break.

I've been the victim of that type of coincidence more than once.

running now. just a little rough with a lot of misfires.
