I am using Red Devil River's Bluetooth ALDL adapter to connect to TunerPro RT and it worked awesome on Tuesday. Today, I do the EXACT same steps as I did on Tuesday and it won't connect.

I turn on my rig, the adapter boots up, goes through a boot sequence and ends at a quickly blinking blue LED. Then I boot up my laptop, it sees the device and pairs/connects to it. I open TunerPro, verify the Com port in preferences, click "Test for valid interface using settings" and it gives me an alert that the says "Cable is found and operational". I have also verified 9600 Baud. So I go to TunerPro, click "Connect/Disconnect" and the lower box changes from "DA:Not Connected"/Yellow to "DA:Connecting"/orange'ish and stays there. The LED on the RDR Bluetooth ALDL goes solid green with an occasional magenta/orange'ish double blink.

I have rebooted my laptop, re-paired the bluetooth device, unplugged/plugged in the adapter, and swapped between com ports. All the same results. :mad1: I am now an hour late to work because I wanted to log my trip in and have been fidgeting with this for the last hour.

This may help. Read through it if you haven't already got it.
The blue led means its connected waiting data.
Some body has put this up before as to what the leds do. I have one and the instructions are very bland.

I'm having troubles uploading this file

till I get this going
some body else may have it

Just a thought did you remember to press start data logging.

This is PERFECT! I got my RDR bluetooth used and it did not come with the CD. I cut and pasted that info into a Word document and printed it up to keep in my glovebox.

I got it to work. Here's what happened:
1) I remembered on Tuesday when it worked, it was on Com port 5 and 6. Today, every time I would pair up with Bluetooth, it was going to Port 4 and 5. I was powering the device through a USB cord into a USB power supply in my cigar lighter today but had it plugged into my laptop Tuesday.
2) I unplugged the USB cord from the cigar light and plugged it into my laptop instead. The USB device mapped to Port 4 while the bluetooth booted up. Then the RDR mapped to ports 5 and 6.
3) I changed my port setting to 6 in Tuner pro and it found the cable. I hit Connect/Disconnect and it worked.

I will look to bring switched power to pin G or L so, hopefully, i will not need the USB at all, anymore.

that was me trying to get the file up.
I pasted it and it looked messy so I took out it till I got the file up. Its a HTML file Im trying to get into a text file.
But sounds like you got it cut and pasted

Ok

I finally got it. All I had to do was print it to PDF.

This is a nice readable copy

If you liked that one. You would probably like this as well. This is the documentation that comes with red devil, but is in an HTML file. I have put it to PDF.
Its their version of the tuner pro instructions.
