Hi guys, hopefully I’m not asking a beaten to death question here, but I’m soon to do a 4l60 to 4l80 swap on my 2001 camaro. I use jet dst, and would like to know if I can do the segment swap or whatever is needed for the conversion and not have to wire in relays to control the 80. Any help is appreciated.

Grab any file with 4l80e and use import modules option or segment swap (depending on software you are using) to tranfer the transmision part to your file.

I've always just started with a 6L 4L80e file so I am curious about what all is involved with a swap too. Are there changes that have to be made to the harness as well? The way my health has been the last few years I hardly do any mechanical work anymore but I always want to learn how to do things correctly. The segment swap can easily be done but is that all that is needed in the calibration?
Thanks for any info,
-Carl

This is the wiring that’s needed. Hopefully the attachment works.

Thank You

edit, After printing this and looking, it appears this is for the 2003+ computer? Again, I don't know so am just trying to learn if this is a universal swap for the early red/blue and later grn/blue?
