New to site

I have a 1981 Jeep CJ5 with a chevy 350 out of an mid 70's truck and the TBI from a mid 80's truck. Just started the research on making it work and happened upon this site. Looking forward to browsing and seeing what I can learn.

A few things I learned with my jeep making it work much better with a 350 and TBI:
1. Had far better luck with adding an in-tank fuel pump (Carter P60852) compared to external (Walbro GSL395)
2. Replaced the 5/16" fuel supply line with 3/8"
3. Replaced the 1/4" return line with 5/16"

Here's the only picture I have of my swap, from last october before spark plug wires, cleaning up with loom and adding a fuse/relay box:

Yep! I worked at a transmission gear and axle shop for a long while and still rebuild stuff for people in my jeep club. I'm in the process of swapping the 700r4 out for a 4L60E anyway.

Looking good man. I've got an S10 rockcrawler with same kinda engine set up. I'm new to the forum as well. Nice Exhaust manifolds on your jeep.
