Hello all. Just starting to dig into the TBI tuning on my Suburban, and I'm always looking to learn more. Build consists of the OEM Gen V 454 block, heads, crank and rods, with a Comp 266HR roller cam conversion, and 18cc forged dome probe pistons. I also have the 3764 Edelbrock intake that will be ported to 2.2" for a big bore throttle body and powder coated black to match the wrinkle finish valve covers, but I will be using the stock intake and TB to get back on the road. Engine is torqued together, should be back in the truck and running next week sometime.

What ECM are you going to run that BB with?

Sounds like a nice motor build.

He has a 7060 and Moates told him he could flash an $0E bin file into that PCM! That would put an end to tuning $85...

7060 with the $0E bin. My Burb had the GenV 454 and 4L80e right from GM, so I have it pretty easy compared to almost all the other square body guys, lol.

Sweet, nothing like starting out with the best hardware.

I may have spoke too soon. A member over on FSC raised some concerns with the $0E mask, so I asked Dave for a little more info and after reviewing it, he confirmed that the $0D and $0E defs will not work on the 7060. I'm glad these tech support guys are so responsive, I don't think I've ever had this level of support. Other than maybe EFILive guys on that forum.

Looks like an ECM swap may be in my future. :(

A member over on FSC raised some concerns with the $0E mask, Six Shooter is also an Admin here.

That should be an easy pinout swap to new PCM plug for 16197427.

Ahh, I see. Looking at the pin outs side by side right now, doesn't look all that difficult.
