Hey Guys,I have two projects going, both are S10 blazers with 3.4 engines. One is a crate 3.4 which will be a daily driver with a few mods, the other is a 3.4 turbo with 3400 heads/intake.I was directed to this forum by Sixshooter and hope to develop a working knowledge of tuning and efi systems.

pretty good place to be then!

it's nice seeing all of the 60V6 guys registering lately.

Sounds like fun projects, I've always liked the S10 for a V8 swap, almost bought a V6 sideways engine car for the wife last month.

Welcome!

I take no responsibility for it, Robert. I found this site by accident looking for Grumpy's tuning papers since diy is no longer around.

Mark, there are V8 sideways engine cars now, as well. Although I hate FWD because of transmissions being the biggest (and most expensive) weak link... but that's why mine is a manual. It takes a bigger licking and keeps on ticking :)

Well if your not counting Eldorados and Toranados from 70's and 80's... Caddilac had a V8 FWD in 92-93 I beleive and then went back to RWD for a few years, that was kinda weird. Actually I like them, I think they are good cars and my wife loves FWD in winter. But yes transmission repair or replace costs are OUCH, if left stock front axles seem to be fine.

Really weird watching cars do smokey burnouts at the track with front wheels? My brain still kinda twitches when I see that!

eldorados always had a V8 at least optional from 1967-2002.... and were FWD the entire time. :)

the seville basically being it's 4 door counterpart applies to this as well.

300HP FWD in 1993 and later thanks to the HO Northstar.

Young-uns. :)Your not that old!

But I'd sure like to see the drivetrain on that thing! Inline Eight, looks like motor in backwards with tranny on front? And what looks like and adjustable fan is probably shifter linkage... cool!
