G1 adapter -

I just started with this adventure. it appears as though I need a G1 adapter . I would of thought it would of came with the kit based on teh info I gave them. In any event, as I wait for that, is there anything I can do with this to start the learning process while I wait for the adapter.?

well I was able to get TunerPrort running and see some data, record some data, customize my dash. little by little..
