Thought I'd hook up the tunerproRT after 2+ years and start fine tuning small issues on my 94 K1500 tbi with vortec heads with my "New PC after a hard drive crash" and lost all my old bins/logs. Truck was running today and while relearning tunerpro i was downloading the bin from the the emulator so I'd have a starting point. Now hooked up ready to read the data and now the truck won't start. Did I remove the bin file? I tried to upload a new bin from a stock truck but it doesn't even try to start. Now its too dark to try anything under the hood. Its an extra vehicle so I'll look at it tomorrow. But wouldn't it even try to start?
The tuner pro Rt is using $0D/0D_TPV5_v250.xdf/A217_0D_v250.ADX
I believe this to be the same as the old bins/xdf/adx.
Is the timing and fuel so far off it just won't even give a hint of starting?
vortec heads/ marine cam/ long tube headers/ no cat. I can't remember all the specs after all this time.

Any thoughts?

I've worked on a similar setup and started up fine on the stock bin. I would think it would at least start in limp home. What are you using for emulation? Ostrich? APU1?

Ostrich.
Maybe it is a simple as unhooking the battery to the truck. Then seeing if she start. Got a 12 shift getting ready to start. I'll check back every couple hours.
Thanks for the quick reply.

Damn, reading all this stuff again makes me want to start working on the ole truck again.
I need a lathe and mill, that would help with custom brackets.
Good stuff and good reading.

Don't know why, but went out and tried it and she fired up.
Runs like crap, but runs.
Now to the tuning.
Thanks for the quick reply, but I think I can look up everything that's already posted.
Fuel and timing will be the first things.
