I have damaged Memcal Prom from Delphi Delco 16198259 ECM and need a replacement. Understand Prom from ECM 1227165 would also be suitable.

Any help would be appreciated

Hi Dave

Many thanks for your reply , have ordered adapter kit. However , do need to replace Memcal Prom to connect as it is damaged. I note it is a discontinued GM part . Do you have any recommendations to source replacement.

If the only damage to the Memcal is the PROM Chip, then the G1 adapter is "THE FIX". The G1 will "Bypass" the Memcal PROM. Install a replacement PROM Chip into the G1.
