TunerCat offers software for the 16191947 computer: http://www.tunercat.com/

You will need to purchase either the OBD1 Tuner Kit ($69.95), or the OBD1 RT (Real Time) Tuner Kit ($99.95), and purchase the $1F ECM definition file ($19.95).

Try these links below:

http://gearhead-efi.com/gearhead-efi/def/xdf/

http://www.tunerpro.net/downloadBinDefs.htm#GM

Sometimes I've needed both TunerCat and TunerPro to successfully tune some of the less popular computers like the 16191947.

ok. I found the xdf but not the adx file. is it the same as the bin file? also this is a 93 ecm. the info i found online was thats the definition file. i just noticed it shows it as a 94-95. not sure if it would cause this though.

You will need to "import" the .ads file http://www.tunerpro.net/gmOBDI.htm , then save as .adx.

My apologies, I posted the wrong link try this link: http://www.tunerpro.net/gmOBDI.htm

You will need to know your engine code, for example LN2, LM3, LD2 ... LG0

I found this old tread that might be helpful? http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Injection/showthread.php?412-TurnerPro-logging-How-do-I-do-that (R.I.P Eagle Mark).

Maybe reload your USB ALDL Cable Driver: http://www.moates.net/usb-driver-p-215.html?cPath=78 I recommend plugging in the USB ALDL Cable into the laptop, then "RUN" CDM20824_Setup.exe directly from the website.

i tried using the same settings and adx as he had and im still getting errors and no data. now if i use efilive v4 it blinks data but doesnt stay connected for long which i believe is software related. in tunerpro i have nothing. i even reinstalled the drivers with no change.

Maybe the attached .adx file will help? I'm not sure what else I can do to help using a keyboard.

yes ive tried that already but still no luck. right now i got my chip burner for the 90 ecm to just burn a 93 program onto a 90 chip. i downloaded the bin but i dont have a xdf.

I was thinking you might need the Dash Configured? See attached screen shot with the most recent A167.adx Dash Configured.

Sometimes, there are vehicle application that do not have TunerPro files, which is frustrating.

I did set that up. i think somewhere somthings not set right since i keep getting errors. Well i found a 4000 ppm sensor that i can connect onto the trans to get the correct reading. Now the question is what pins on the 93 ecm. It lists 3 wires and says they go to the speed sensor but the sensor is only 2 wires. Also the color code for the ecm connected to the speed sensor is different so i cant even follow that. Any idea how it would go?
