Hi guys,
I've got a 1995 Buick Roadmaster wagon that I wired up a momentary push button to engage the transmission's performance mode. One side of button to grey PCM pin 13, other side to ground.*
I also wired an LED to indicate when performance mode is active. - side of LED to red PCM pin 15, + side to +12v source.*
It doesn't seem to work. As soon as ignition key is turned to on position, LED lights up (somewhat dimly) & stays lit, regardless of button is pressed.*
Also there isn't an appreciable difference in shift firmness.
PCM calibration is 16209331
Did I miss something? Do wagon PCMs have this functionality?

Can you post the bin from your PCM. There are some software switches that might be off in your calibration.

Do you put a resistor between diode and PCM. It is normal to have a faint light comming from the diode. I think it depends from the resistor.

BIN atached.
There's a 500 ohm resistor on the + side of the LED

You need to uncheck byte_2875 $20 and the switch will work.

Is this bin modified or completely stock.

I've opened the bin in HxD, it looks like bit 2875 contains "F0". What should it contain if unchecked?
Thanks

F0 = 1111 0000
D0 = 1101 0000

Change it to D0.
Make sure you update checksums if you edit the bin in Hxd.

You can still download the eextra xdf from the link I gave you and save yourself manual bin editing.

I opened bin 16243171 in HxD as well, it also has "F0" at bit 2875.
