16146299 ECM tunerpro troubles

Hello,

I am trying to connect my friends 93 Chevy G20 with 5.7 and 16146299 AWLD ECM. I downloaded $99 ADS, XDF and already had ADX file. Tunerpro RT connects when the engine is stopped. Shows me battery voltage, TPS changes as I move the accelerator pedal. Other than that, it says lots of malfunction codes are in error.

Problem is when I start the engine. The lower "Connected" blue rectangle starts flashing red. Only sometimes it stops and gives me RPM, which then stays the same until it gets another signal - sometimes it takes more than a minute to get another one.

This ALDL USB converter works well with my $42.

Am I doing something wrong? Or is it caused by the vehicle?

Maybe try the attached 99 .adx file to data log with. Maybe playback the attached .xdl (data log file) file using the attached .99 adx. Let us know what happens.

Ok, here it goes: 92 Chevy K1500 4x4. I have a Red Devil River Bluetooth Adapter, Samsung Tab A and have purchased the ALDLdroid app. So far I am able to pair my tablet with ALDL Bluetooth and I have loaded the ADX. and the XDF. 99 from this forum. It seems that that the blue light flashing to white as prescribe by Red Devil is working while connected. Aldldroid says that I am connected. I have a message saying waiting for data from ECU. ECU #16146299. I feel like I am really close to getting actual data stream. Just need a little help.
