Hi Steveo
I've been running EEHack 4.8 (beta 4 I think) on laptop and desktop, both windows 10.

The desktop tends to be ok until the following day when it. Has become "unresponsive"

In the car 4.8 runs ok and logs for about 10 minutes, just enough to warm up then starts slowing down.
The display updates progressively longer between logs. It still seems to record and log ok but can record 100+ logs between updating the screen. It seems to save ok. Restarting has the same slowdown.

Reverting back to 4.7 in car runs fine,

Mitch

interesting, i haven't changed much in 4.8, but i did recompile it with a new version of qt.

i guess that version might have some bugs.

i'll investigate

Rather than start a new thread, this looked like a good place to ask:
On my 1995 Impala SS, using Motes cable, upon flashing a tune with 4.7, after doing so and trying to run, the ABS light and both fans come on. Essentially it seems to go into limp mode. I admit I have not yet read through all 63 pages of the valuable trove of the original $EE Thingie thread, but I did see one reference to "ABS light" but no frame of reference.
Good news is that if I instead flash with 4.5.1, which I had kept loaded thankfully, all is fine. I'm just not getting the newest and greatest of features I guess.
I imagine this has something to do with the various modules on the bus as I've seen discussed.
Is there a workaround at this point?

I continue to have a lot of fun playing with and am grateful for these enthusiast creations: EEhack, TunerPro, and all the collaborators's contributions to each.
