having touble with my 95 Camaro. its running rich around 11.8 afr at open loop. will rev up but if I push the throttle quick it cuts out. once the car warms up the reving isuue goes away but then the afr drops to 10.5 or so. I know I need to be around 14.7 at idle and 11.8 on the top end. I replaced the 02s checked for vacuum leaks couldn't find anything. I got the tunercats software to make adjustments and eehack to data log but have never used either. what should I look for in the datalog and where would I make the changes in the tune? I am wondering if telling the pcm there is a larger flow injector if it will correct and call for a smaller pulse and compensate to fix the problem. I am going to replace the header gaskets Tuesday night and check the thermostat. I really want to learn where to make adjustments in the tune to get the car running great not just running.

so you have a wideband?

does your car have a maf?

you need to log and see whats going on. get eehack going and record a driving log and post that with your current bin

intake pipe was hot almost to hot to touch the temp never went past a 1/4 on the guage so it is not reaching op temp along with the amount of heat under the hood I'm thinking header gasket leak. intake down under the car at the intercoolers are cool. I know its going to need some adjusting the car was tuned for drag not road driving. ill get the log hooked up and record closed and open loops uploading it i will need some assistance there i am not a computer wiz by any means.. i usually stick to carbs but seen an opportunity to invest in this car and make some money it was tuned when built but something went wrong. had a wiring issue when i got it code 42 got that figured out now this. only changes to the car is an msd opti with timing advance. maybe the timing is advanced on the opti not on purpose but just by handling of the opti

not sure how to get the info for the tune in tuner cats i can go into tables. there is 100 different parameters to post unless there is one individual that is the tune. 1st time using the software i apologize

I have a short data log just don't know how to post it on here. anybody?

what is the optimal afr for 11psi boost. Both stoich are 128 I don't really see anything wrong. I'm still getting the code 42 but car is idling fine and drives fine after entering closed loop. Afr is 11.3-12. I'm thinking just let it alone? I posted my tune. Couldn't figure out how to post the data
