Hello.Hoping to find someone that can help me sort out my 4l80E. I've installed a 2007 Duramax into my 1991 pickup mated to a 4l80E. Is it possible to alter the shift tables so I can continue to use my stock TCM? It shifted fine with the 454 TBI but the Duramax peak torque is at different rpm's. PCM is 16147060. Thanks

Yes. Tunerpro and http://www.moates.net/burn2-chip-programmer-p-197.html?cPath=64 with a http://www.moates.net/g1-memory-adapter-tpi-etc-p-32.html?cPath=64 and a ZIF socket.

info on your PCM is here http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Injection/showthread.php?317-16147060-PCM-Information-85

That said, Duramax powered vans ran 4L80s. you could probably run the late model PCM for engine and trans pretty easy with the right tune.

As another, yet likely pricier option, I build custom controllers for 4L60E/4L80E. If youre interested pm me.
