im sure this by now this has been done countless times. lol

ok got a 94 k1500 z71, vortec heads, the vortec roller cam/lifters, edelbrock 2116,tbi plate, bumped up fuel psi, got it all together and it started right up and sounded great, was alittle sluggish under load so i advanced timing a bit and no more spit/sputter, it runs/drives so-so, but now a tune is needed or atleast i would assume

now comes the hard part (atleast i think its the hard part lol) tuning

after some searching the site here looks like i can buy and use these items along with my aldl cable (might be a easier/faster way, if so please explain) trying to keep cost to a minimum. lol

The Moates.net Burn 2
The Moates.net G1
Aries S4
and a few chips

what will i be using software wise and what is it that ill be doing/changing (haha, take it easy on me im new to tuning, but not new to wrenching or computers)

If you havent yet, you'll find all the info you need to get started here. Download tunerpro and start playing, search any questions you have. This is a good read on what changes can be made:

Also, i have a similar truck. Im not sure you'll need an aries s4.

If you get Wide Band O2 sensor into a data log and export the data log into a .csv file, you can use my tuning spreadsheet to tune with. Here is the link to my WBO2 tuning thread: http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Injection/showthread.php?5381-Wide-Band-O2-(WBO2-Tuning)-Spreadsheet

what is your tranny? are you still using the factory chip in the ecu? have the same truck and a 350 and been tuning it but we have fuel delivery problem with 2 rear cylinders running rich. think it a problem with the adapter plate and intake manifold.
