if you got fuel adjusted 126-132 what would be the maximum timming you would want to run on a light cruise?

Are you running Vortec or swirlport heads on this engine?

Most people find 26-30 degrees max works best on those heads. Attached is my swirl port headed V8 table. It is $0D on a 7427 so you will have to interpolate. As always use at your own risk but this is nothing radical. This is in a light vehicle. It seems like Dave W. posted a performance table for TBI and a 7747. Your V6 may want more or less advance so just play with it and watch knock counts.

That is WOT, cruise timing is limited to 42° + Initial on a V8. I generally run up to 10° initial at the distributor. Cruise timing for swirl ports can be as high as 48°. My Vortec likes up to 52° at light throttle cruise.

Here is the thread I was talking about. http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Injection/showthread.php?2540-Performance-Timing-Table-Chevy-5-7-Liter-TBI-ECM-1227747

I had quite a few knock counts at cruise above 33 degrees. Each engine is different.
