I'm not well versed with the LS conversions and need some help from an LS Guru. I have a friend with a 2008 Denali that came with the 6.2L. It has a rod knocking and he has access to a 2011 Corvette 6.2L. He has concerns about DOD,VVT and any other issues with this swap. Both appear to be controlled by E38 ecm, so I'm thinking it should not be difficult. Anyone with experience / knowledge care to share some input on differences and obstacles for the swap would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Steve

The Corvette engine does not have DOD nor VVT. It's a pretty simple swap, very minor wiring modifications.
The VVT and DOD need to be disabled in the tune, if not the engine will run in 4 cyl mode.

Mostly relocation of some pigtails since the intake is different. What I normally do is unwrap the harness and re-arrange it to fit the new intake because it's routed different in the truck intake.
